EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO LONAVALA-  A REPORT

           An educational trip of classes IIC, IIIB, IVA, VA & VB proceeded to Lonavala with 109 students & 5 escorts-Mrs.R.Khan,

Mrs.A.Mallik, Mrs.R.Prakash, Mrs.R.Gadroo & Mr. G.B.Maurya in 3 NDRF buses on 9^th November2010 with the permission

of the Principal who wished us “Safe & a Joyous Trip”. Before proceeding, the climate was quite unfavourable with a cloudy weather

& uninvited showers. But luck favoured us & the weather became extremely pleasant on reaching Lonavala at 10 a.m.

On the way children enjoyed the beautiful sceneries with a chorus of songs sung by them in the bus. On reaching the Ryewood Park

at Lonavala all the students were excited to keep their belongings & start playing. The teachers of the respective classes grouped

the children to form a cricket team, football team and some others enjoyed a slider ride while some of them found pleasure in

playing catching cook, hide & seek etc.

The teachers then asked the children to collect information related to EVS around the park. At 12 noon everybody enjoyed

the sumptuous meals that tickled our taste buds. At 1 p.m after buying the chikki for which Lonavala is famous &taking the attendance

 we, along with the students proceeded back to our destination with the beautiful memories of the trip.

The trip was indeed a knowledgeable one as the children gained aesthetic values,loving,sharing & caring for their peers.

 It was also educational as the students collected different kinds of leaves, seeds ,classified the plants into herbs, shrubs & trees &

also learnt about some aquatic animals in the pond  which was in the park.

It was a wonderful, memorable & knowledgeable trip to Lonavala.
