Looking in to the need of the hour, the students of class XI and XII were taken on an educational tour to Mahabaleshwar . The group consisting of 109 students and four PGTs set off in two buses on 22.10.10 at 7.00am fully equipped with all needs.

The way with all its lush green surroundings ,the splendid panoramic view of the mountain climb spread with rivulets and different hued flowers, was a great feast to the eyes. Inside the bus ,it was a good food for the ears, students dancing and singing to their hearts’ glory.

We reached Punchgani at 11.15am ,sought the help of a guide and reached the most surprising spot of Panchgani – Table Land. We could see all the five mountain tops flat like a plateau and got the mystery behind the name Panchgani solved.

Then we moved on to Pandva caves, a historically important spot. Visit to this place was very thrilling and exciting for all the adventure lovers. Parsi Point , students enjoyed to the maximum. Around 1.00pm we visited the famous Mapro strawberry factory and this was followed by an enjoyable shopping.

Due to inclement weather, children were asked to have their lunch in the bus itself and then the bus rolled itself towards Mahabaleshwar. But all our anxiety and expectations went in vain, since we had to drop our plan due to fog, though it was a rare sight. Still we managed to see Mahabaleshwar temple and Panchganga Temple in old Mahabaleshwar in a  fogy weather.

The downward journey was made a memorable one with all fun and frolic by the students. Eventually we reached the Vidyalaya around 9.30pm. As the parents were already informed, the students were handed over safely to them.
