   Second Day’s Proceedings

Activities

As the monsoon wraps up the city and makes the atmosphere cool and pleasant, the scouts with the motto ‘Be Prepared’ were ready to face the challenges. 

The scouts woke up at 05.00 hrs and tea was served at 06.00 hrs. They had their BP six exercises.          Flag-break ceremony was held  at 08.00 hrs . Thereafter, they were served breakfast as per the menu suggested   by  KV Sangathan. The Scouts proceeded for testing  venue-to the Ordnance factory community hall along with their contingent leaders and escorts. Lunch was served to them at 13.00  hrs  and around 14.30 hrs they again went for testing. 

          ‘Dwitiya Sopan’ and oral tests were conducted  for the Scouts at the respective testing   bases . The  testing  portion  consisted of  law , promise ,  checking  the scouts’ uniform, first aid , pioneering ,  National Anthem,  knots  etc. 

The participants along with their contingent leaders and escorts were served tea at around 16.30 hrs. At 17.00 hrs testing was conducted again. Thereafter ,  a meeting of testing team with  Shri  S S  Chamoli  LOC ( Scouts )was held. Region- wise camp fire was conducted at 19.30 hrs. 

Dinner was served at 20.00 hrs and a meeting of escorts, members of testing team and officials took place under the  aegis  of  Shri  S S  Chamoli L O C ( Scouts ) after that at 21.30 hrs. During the period of meeting  the  Scouts  were engaged  with  self study  assignment.  They were  instructed  to prepare  for  next day’s  testing  process.
