Vidyalaya No. 2, Ordnance Factory, Dehu
Road nestled snugly on the foot
of a hill surrounded by lush greenery, situated in the lap of
nature - away from the madding crowd, provides the right ambience
for the teaching - learning process. Right from its inception
in August 1985, the school has striven towards the objective
of laying the foundation for the students on 'How To Learn'
and not for any one profession. We prepare the students to cope
with an unpredictable future. |
With the efforts put in by
highly qualified, enthusiastic staff, together with a congenial, conducive
atmosphere, the student here can hope to imbibe commendable values
like discipline, self - control, punctuality and small courtesies
which go a long way in life. We aim to an all round development of
the child as our curriculum is extensive and includes activities such
as regular study courses, spoken
English Classes, Curricular and Extra-Curricular Activities, Sports,
Cultural Activities, Vocational Training and Adventurous Activities.
:: Curriculam
The school aims to provide excellent
opportunities for the academic development of the child. The curriculum
is framed to ensure that the student learns to use the resources of
his mind effectively.
The school is affiliated to CBSE/New Delhi
and follows the CBSE/NCERT syllabus.
Subjects
English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Computer Science, General Science (Physics, Chemistry,
Biology), Social Science (History, Geography, Civics and Economics),
Commerce, Economics.
In Class IX, the student can opt either Hindi or Sanskrit.
Medium Of Instructions
Instructions in classes are imparted in English and Hindi.
